Oversocialisation

I feel like cities and technology can result in over-socialisation for a lot of people. I've noticed that dogs that spend a lot of time being fussed over (eg living in a cafe) become quite indifferent to people, and living in a city I feel the same thing has happened to me to a degree.

That's not to say I'm not social or that I don't talk to strangers, its just more of a conscious decision than - say - talking to the only other human I've seen that day might be.
